Another Imminent Homeland And National Security Issue!

Question:  Do you believe that the recent release of sensitive memos by this administration relating to terrorist interrogation procedures threatens our Homeland & National Security?

Note:  As a Veteran, I believe that this and other deplorable and hap-hazard actions taken by this President and his administration, along with the Democratic majority in Congress, not only threaten our Homeland and National Security, but are systematically eroding our ‘Constitutional Rights’ and will ultimately destroy this great country of ours.

These are just a few examples of what I believe to be their deplorable actions:

• DHS Extremist Alert Report Targeting Veterans, President apologizing to the world, to include our enemies here at home and abroad, for this country’s alleged arrogance;

• Trying and convicting members of our Armed Forces for killing their enemies and, in the heat of battle, allegedly other innocent civilian by-standers; and

• Are open to investigating, and possibly prosecuting, officials and lawyers involved in the drafting of the allegedly harsh water-boarding interrogation techniques, although there is credible evidence that shows that the application of these procedures are credited with keeping us safe from other terrorist attacks.

Additionally, I believe that these actions send a clear and alarming message about their underlying lack of support for those honorable and courageous individuals who voluntarily join our Armed Forces and are thereby charged with upholding our freedoms, which includes  fighting and, if need be, making the ultimate sacrifice for this great country of ours-You Decide.

(1) Protecting our national security vigilantly and consistently with the rule of law;

(2) reinvigorating the Department’s traditional missions, such as fighting crime, safeguarding the civil rights of all Americans, preserving our environment, protecting our public institutions from corruption, and ensuring fairness in the marketplace; and

(3) recommitting the Department to its vital traditions of independence, non-partisanship, transparency, and fealty to the law.”

Note: What follows is an article published by FoxNews.com that revealed that House Speaker Pelosi is among other lawmakers who want an independent commission established to probe the evolution of the water boarding interrogation policies, but it’s still unclear what she knew early on in the Bush administration. She is adamant that she was never told during a congressional briefing held in 2002 that waterboarding or other “enhanced” interrogation techniques were being used on terrorist suspects, although she and three other lawmakers allegedly did receive an hour-long secret briefing on the interrogation tactics, to include water-boarding and raised no objections to those tactics at that time, which is another great example of what I see as this administration’s selective memory tactics-You Decide:
